have always been her inspiration. Her creative spirit was
nurtured by her grandmother and teachers in the early years of
school. And as an adult by her art teacher and mentor June
Busse.

Grieta moved to Eastend in 1997. She and her mother raise
cattle just down the valley towards Ravenscrag, along the
Frenchman River.
Grieta attended the Victoria College of Art in Victoria B.C. and
the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary, AB. |

A semi-retired rancher, Glen has lived in the Eastend area all
his life. It has just been since retiring from the ranch
that he has taken up a life long interest in art taking art
classes with local teachers. |

Knitting and crochet started back at her country school. Where
children made items for the Red Cross. From there it has grown
and developed into a passion.
