Born and raised in Eastend, Laurie has a great love for as she calls it, "Her Valley". The hills, prairie and all beings that dwell there have always been her inspiration. Her creative spirit was nurtured by her grandmother and teachers in the early years of school.  And as an adult by her art teacher and mentor June Busse.
